If you're struggling with change and transition
You've come to the right place
About Me
From a young age, I witnessed the profound impact of grief. Within one year, my mother lost both her mother and her brother. I watched her cry endlessly, and as a child, I felt there could never be enough love or hugs to ease her pain. That experience planted an early calling in me - to do deeper work, and to help others find their way through life’s hardest moments.
That calling first took shape through faith and service. I became active in the church, serving as a youth leader and occasionally preaching on Sunday mornings. In high school, I became a lay minister. By my early twenties, I realized that while broadcast journalism was engaging, it was not my life’s work.
My path continued through service as a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador and later at Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, DC. It was there - through the encouragement of my supervisor at the time and now long-time mentor, Jennifer Atkins, that I came to fully recognize my true calling: coaching.
Over the years, I’ve seen what happens when capable, caring people are asked to lead without adequate support, without space to breathe, and without permission to be human. I’ve worked with executives transitioning from the private sector into public service, reimagining their team’s future amid resistance. I’ve supported new managers moving into university settings where critical organizational feedback is acknowledged in theory, but not always in practice.
I help people reconnect with who they truly are - often during moments of transition, uncertainty, or quiet burnout. I am not a therapist focused on looking backward. Instead, I help clients take honest stock of what is present right now, and then look forward - focusing first on how they want to be, and only then on what they want to do.
I believe in authentic, humble, self-aware, and mindful leadership. I do not believe leaders must be perfect, nor do I believe in one-size-fits-all development. Individuals and leaders alike need thoughtful support as they navigate change and growth.
I work with leaders, professionals, and organizations who care deeply about doing meaningful work, but are tired of doing it at the expense of their health, values, or humanity.
In my coaching, I hold space with calm, compassion, and appropriate challenge. I offer mindfulness without dogma, paired with evidence-based leadership development tools and practical techniques that support sustainable change.
After more than two decades of coaching senior leaders in the civil and foreign service, I am ready to help lift you up and guide you toward new heights - personally, professionally, and as a leader.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my “tribe,” practicing yoga, and breathing in the beauty and healing that nature so generously provides.
If this resonates, I’d love to explore how we might work together.
